Mindaugas Sinkevičius is a Mayor of Jonava District Municipality and a President of Association of Local Authorities in Lithuania. He is a graduate of three different universities and holds a PhD at ISM of Management and Economics University. Mr. Sinkevičius is a former Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania (2016–2017). In 2019 he has crossed the Ironman Copenhagen finish line in Denmark.
